Wow, Ian! I also love my duckie tub (you can see photo evidence on my blog if you want), but it never occurred to me that I might still be using it at age 3+. YIPPEE!!! That's great news, cuz I love my duckie! How can you give it up? Don't you like the quacking anymore?

Hey Guys!
I truly have very little knowledge of how this works, but I was able to find you this time - perhaps you'll get our message!
It's nice to know that Ian and Marysia are back in town. We would indeed like so see more photographs when you take a notion.I've noticed that Sophie has a small bald-ish spot where she keeps pulling her "twig" rubberband out. Is it possible to use some of Ian's clippings to make her a tiny toupee?
We miss having you across the street. Hope to see you again soon.
Love , Usx6

Hi Ian, you've probably already figured this out, but you've got a great Dad, as much a child at heart as a sage. I was a student of his in the late 80s and early nineties and enjoyed having him beat me at racquetball... regularly. He was the best kind of teacher...one who inspires you. I rememember fondly holiday gatherings he hosted for stranded grad students and the friendship he extended. All the best to you and your mom and dad from Patrick, Christine, Lydia (6), Caroline (2) and Julian (4 months)

Just a quick hello from an old student of Marysia's -- 98 or so? -- want to say that Ian is adorable, and I imagine my very strong urge to squeeze him would be many times harder to resist in real life. I'm glad that Tuscaloosa has treated M to such joy(s, to include the other people involved!). Becky and I are probably going to return to Alabama ourselves in a matter of months. Perhaps if we're near Tuscaloosa any time soon, we'll swing by the New College office.

Jer, GREAT hat picture. We can't believe how big Ian's getting. What are you feeding that kid, Miracle Gro? Better switch to Miracle Whip, like the rest of us.

Well, I now feel guilty, inadequate, and computer illiterate since I'm clearly so behind the times in "blogging" my own two kids . . . Ian will just have to bear the burden himself of demonstrating New College baby cuteness, as he does so well.

Poor Ian, your life is destined to as documented as The Apollo Project. Tell your dad to get a life and learn how to do something useful, like playing his baritone uke. But, Kid, if you we're so darned cute you wouldn't be seeing flashbulbs in your face all the time.

I can't believe how big you've gotten in the past month since we've seen you! You look more like a boy than a baby now. We really hope you make some good friends at day care, because it is true that good friends make this life worth living. Say hey to your mom and dad for us, okay?

Way to go Ian...I have been after your Dad to email us pictures as you grow so it is nice to have a website to go to when we haven't seen you in a day or two. Have a wonderful time at day care...and tell you Dad to bring you up to his office to see us often.

Hello Ian, This is your Mom and Dad's friend, Loti. I know, it sounds like yourr parents have lost their mnds, but professors are always looking for things to do to occupy their brains, so they obviosly have alot of time on their hands. I hope you are sleeping alot at that new daycare program because you'll want to be plenty rested when you go home so you can stay up late. Sleeping seems to be important for grown-ups but not so for babies. Ian, give some hugs and slobbery , gum kisses to your folks for me, tell them I send my love. This blog is wonderful, Loti
